« on: August 24, 2015, 06:48:26 AM »
I still don't know which emotion is best to have to make quick progress in:

-charisma
-gardening
-fishing

Any idea?

Focused is best for gardening, fishing, and rocket science. I don't know if there is a best emotion for charisma; you might try confident.

There is a big difference in learning speed when using the ideal mood.  DarkWalker told us how much of a difference in this thread, using information he got from the games files:  http://www.carls-sims-4-guide.com/forum/index.php/topic,21972.0.html   It says that being focused boosts mental skills learning rate by 40%, and being very focused boots it by 60%.  Being energized or very energized wouldn't boost it at all, although it would give the benefit of slowing energy decay.

Also use the mixology drink Amygdelight available at level 1 mixology when leveling up rocket science. It exponentially increases learning rate.

As soon as i finished rebuilding my house (just discovered you can make holes in the ground, what a bonus vs TS3 but takes me hours :D), i will apply all this.

Just got spa day, seems they are a lot of nice new 8h moodlets too!

Happy to have learned all this, thank you all.

12 and 24 hour moodlets available too, try out the yoga classes and different massages. I can post a quick break down if you want or don't have the time to try it all out for yourself. Even better you could check out Carl's Spa Day guide!

No, no need thank you!

Because of challenge rule i didn't erase all my house and start from scratch, but it s fine, one thing after the other.
Let me discover all these by myself!
With emotion system it s much more challenging to get a good efficient building (and still nice to look, i start to hate this plumbob lamps haha)
