Sims Disliking One Another

I am putting this topic in the Late Night section because it's a problem I've noticed since I got LN, and I'm wondering if it's related to incompatible astrological signs or what.  Two of the Sims in my Clan Douglas Dynasty dislike each other and I can't figure out why.  They are both Friendly and Good, and have no incompatible traits.  I'll spend time getting them to interact to at least get their relationship up to neutral, then a few days later they'll be back to disliking each other.  They never have negative interactions, so I don't know why this happens.  Has anyone else experienced this?  One of them is Taurus and I think the other one is Scorpio.

Have you tried getting one of them to ask the other ones sign. I did that when kumquat was socialising with Herbert and I got a message pop up saying these signs are compatible. It might not work as a social in the Clan's case as I think it might be a romantic social.

Thanks for the suggestion, Rachel.  I haven't tried that and will see if it's an option next time I start the game.  I'd sure like to figure out why those two don't like each  other.

Edit:  I had another idea about this.  I'm wondering if it's related to the false accusations that happen from time to time.  I know my sims always lose a friend or two when that happens, which I find really annoying.  Maybe if the relationship is low to begin with, the false accusations will send it into the Disliked zone.

I've noticed that I have a lot of disliked Sims in my relationship panel. I'm wondering if this is a new popularity/celebrity thing that is in the game.

I've noticed a small relational hit with some townies if your sim gets hit with a scandal. But your sim would have to get hit with a lot of scandals to drop it into the negative, given the amount of slide I have seen.
