Sims 4 - Movie Hangout Stuff

I'm on the fence on buying this. Not because of the price, mind you. (NZ$15 = 1 ave dinner cost) I'm not a film buff in real life. If there were only 10 things I'm allowed to do for my whole life, watching TV is probably the least I would choose. I hope our builders would showcase the stuff included here. I actually want to be persuaded to buy this, but the interest is practically nil at the moment.

**If the stuff pack was about knitting or sewing or crochet...I'd be over the moon and died from illicit pleasure watching my sims do them.**

I think that would be a good feature if someone has the means to share some of the content   And like you, I would love a knitting/sewing supplement...even like they had in Sims 2.

I'm not sold on this yet. I feel like there's not exactly anything that new or exciting - the movie screen is just a larger tv, which is already in game anyway *sighs*.

I mean new clothes and furniture is always good but not to make me have to buy it straight away. Possibly wait and see if it's reduced further down the line.

Saying that, knowing me I'll probably change my mind! 

Be interesting to know if there are any interesting moodlets from the TV or Popcorn maker...?

There are at least a couple of moodlets. My sims have been happy after a movie they enjoyed and bored after one they didn't like. They don't all have the same reaction to the same movie either. I've found the movies themselves to be actually pretty fun to watch. They're cleverly edited Sims 3 footage. The horror movie is actually quite creepy (in a tongue-in-cheek sims way).
Overall I really like the clothes and decor more than anything. It's a really fun colorful style that's unlike anything we've had so far. The tree with hanging lanterns is really beautiful at night.

There is nothing wrong taking a wait and see attitude.  And it will be on sale at some point.  I mean, there was a discount on the older Game Packs and Stuff Packs over the holidays on Origin

With all the loud colors most of these items give me more of a 70's flashback than they make make think of a movie hangout.
