Sims 3 keeps crashing

Hi can any body help me, my sims 3 game keeps crashing, I mean right when I get on  I have a few expansion packs (4) and I have deleted my stuff from the DCbackup file or what ever it was.. also if it does work (it does rarely) if I get a adult dog I will crash if I use the dog

Hi Twincicle,

I'm not sure exactly what is causing your game to crash. But here are a few tips to try, if you haven't already.

1. Clear the game cache.
2. Clean out extra stuff from the sims personal and family inventories.
3. Reset Sims, the town or evict family to clipboard.
4. Try a factory reset. - This is what I do if/when my game starts acting odd.
5. If you have custom content and/or mods installed. I'd check to make sure none of them have gone bad or need to be updated.

If you've tried all of these, please let us know so we can dig deeper to help solve the problem.
