Cheats: testingcheatenable

I have The Sims 3 on PC, I have all the expansion packs. But the thing I need help with is the 'testingcheatenable true' I have also tried 'on' instead of 'true'. I don't know how to get it to work. Now in The Sims 2 they had a mod for this and I was trying to wait till they came out with it for The Sims 3, but in the mean time I would like to know how to get this to work. When I downloaded Late Night I installed the CasThumbnail to the mods folder on my computer and got some new traits to use, when I uninstalled it the traits went away. Is there something like that for the cheat?

The problem that you are having is that you need to type testingcheatsenabled true (notice the s in cheats and the d in enabled), not testingcheatenable true.
