Transparent Sims?

I really hope this isn't posted somewhere yet, if so I apoligize.  Just what exactly are the Sims that walk around with just a head and feet and nothing in between? Lol.  It is a bit disturbing when they show up for parties or whatever.  I'm pretty sure it's not a glitch because the same Sim will maintain that look all through game.

Ha ha. Yeah, I've seen them myself. It's gotta be just a graphics glitch. I can't imagine this is intentional.

I've never seen that.

It probably has to do with what kind of computer you have, this game is pretty heavy to run. If you mess around with the graphics settings it might go away.

I see it periodically, too.  I figured it's just a glitch for a particular outfit.

Yes Pam maybe the outfit because I have a really good pc and graphic card. Makes you wonder though, lol a Sim that makes you go hmmmm!

How odd, I've never had that happen in my game.   Is it a 3rd party CC outfit?  The only other time I've heard people talk about seeing just a head and feet showing up was because of a Mod they put in their game.

I don't have any 3rd party CC clothing.  Everything in my game either came with it or was purchased at the Sims 3 Store.

I don't use mods or cheats, either, so don't know about that.  They seem to respond and chat ok and be pretty normal, lol  Haven't noticed any evil type of thing from them.  They just look funny! Next time I see one I'll take a screen shot!

I saw one without a head, and one with only shoes! I was very confused when my sim started talking to someone who I could not see.
