Testing Cheats

There are times when I try to enable the testing cheats and it doesn't work. I've used all of the versions listed on the guide and I've tried turning them off and then back on with no results. It only happens occasionally. Can someone help me figure out why it only works sometimes?

I'm not sure why the cheats only work some of the time. But here's a thread (link below) talking about cheats that might help.
