Installing game on a new computer without old CC.

I'm getting a new computer soon (I was meant to get it a while ago, but things went wrong), and I'll be moving my saved files and such over to that new computer.

I'm planning on starting it over without the CC I have in my game now. However, in my current game I have a few items that are CC. What will happen to these items?
For example, I have a sim wearing CC and I have a chair and table that is CC.
Will the game start up with my sim wearing different clothing, or will it make the sim go buggy?
And with the table and chair - what will happen with them? Will they just disappear, or will it affect something in a bad way?

Do you mean Store purchased content or third party custom content?  For Store content, you'll just have to go back to the Sims 3 Store and download everything again from your purchase history.  If it's third party content, I have no idea.

Sorry, I should have said what type of CC. I was actually referring to stuff from the store and third party.

I was just trying to see whether it'd be okay moving my games to another computer without the additional work, but I'm thinking I might delete all third party CC before moving it over so that nothing is affected.
I don't really want to be running my game with it anymore.

If you're talking about Luna's stockings in your Dynasty, then I am almost sure it will be replaced by socks or any other appropriate accessory. Why almost, because if something goes wrong, your game may get buggy. It's best to redownload the items you know you're using right now. Maybe the table and chair will be replaced by similar items, too? Just thinking, though.

I think it will all jsut get replaced but to be on the safe side before you move the files you could take them out of the house or off the sim just to make sure. When I have done reinstalls and not installed all of my Store Items it just replaces it. I don't have any Third Party CC though so I can't say what will happen for that.

I think I will go with removing all CC from my game before putting it on my new computer.
