Pomegranate in Willow creek

I haven't seen this in any guides/posts. I moved a family in with the Sloan family in Willow Creek and was deleting the existing plants in the plant boxes behind the house so I could replace them with better quality plants I had saved from the new resident's old house. When deleting the existing plants, low and behold, there was a pomegranate laying there in one of the planters!

And how far into the game was this? I don't recall a Sloan family being there at the start of the game but hopefully the planters and pomegranate will still be there ;-D

There isn't a Sloane family that I see, at least when you first load up a new game in Willow Creek.

However, they may be talking about the garden lot behind the house - Garden Essence?

My bad, I must have created the Sloan family. anyhoo, the lot is right behind the Parkshore residence. towards the back of the loading screen (has a flat roof).  On a related note, I was playing this family again yesterday and deleted a duplicate plant from a planter and there was a cowberry plant laying there.

Hi Randingo  sounds like Umbrage Manor... must have been something unusual as that house is empty at the start of a new game and the planters empty too. Rats! Would have been exciting to find a grown pomegranate there. I wonder what is causing all these plants/seeds to spawn there in your game! Kinda handy though!

Pomegranates and dragon fruits will also come up fairly often as random fishing catches. I've caught dragon fruits in the river near the Willow Creek starter neighborhood, and if I remember correctly, I've gotten pomegranates in the pond at the park. Cow plant berries are fairly common when fishing in the rear fishing spot at Oasis Springs park. I almost always get one or two of them, even at lower fishing levels.

The Sloan family might be a random townie family. By default, the game will slowly fill unoccupied lots with townies. I generally turn the option off, because I hate it when one of my builds gets taken over by random townie squatters before the Sim I built it for has enough money. I just don't have the heart to evict them.
