Still Downloading? *Fixed*

When I first got the Sims 4 (March 23rd) it had finished installing before I started playing the game. A couple of days ago I started getting the message that Origin had not finished installing the game and playing could result in issues. I clicked play figuring it was just a glitch and that it would go away the next time I played, but it still shows up every time I go to play the game.  I haven't had any issues as of yet, but I don't want to chance it. What should I do?

Hi Chione,

Have you tried any of these troubleshooting tips?

01.) Repairing the Game

Right Click on the game and select Repair Game.

02.) Log out of Origin. -- *If exiting Origin isn't working, open Task manager (Ctrl-Shift-Esc) search for a file called ts4.exe. Click on it and select end process.

03.) Run Ccleaner and it's registry cleaner
https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download (Standard Edition is Free)
-- This helps clean up temporary files, internet cache files and other files that are left behind that are no longer being used.

04.) Delete both game cache and Origin cache files

I cleared both caches and am now playing in offline mode and that seems to have done the trick. Thanks so much for your help!
