I have never had a problem with adventures until today. My sims won't stop disappearing. Reset brought them back the first two times and now it won't work at all. Now my vacation is over and they are stuck in France, still invisible. I'm not super savvy with computers so please help, I really want to get out of France. Lol

I have! The resetting stopped working. And I don't want to delete this game :/ it's my main game

I actually don't travel in any of my Sims games. So I searched on the problem to see what I might be able to find.

Here's a couple of suggested things to try:

From the thread below, LivvieLove suggests right before you go home, try going into edit-town mode in France. Save your household to the Simbin and open a new file and try again there. That's the only other option I can think of as trying to preserve your Sim if nothing else works.

My Sim is stuck in France but my issue is slightly different from the ones listed here. I went to France with my Dad. We were in a tomb, he grabbed a keystone and then dissapeared. I couldn't get out of the tomb so I just sent myself home. My Dad has now gone. Well, his icon has gone as a member of the household but is still listing in my relationships tab as my Dad. I've tried reset sim but it hasn't done anything. I don't really care about not getting my Dad back but I am no longer able to travel because it says someone in the household is already travelling. How can I fix this? Can I unistall World Adventure and reinstall and how do I do that? Would that work? I've read the fixes but I am no longer in France so can't send him home and he is not invisible as such as he no longer exists and I don't have any control over him. I'd love it if I could erase him altogether. This happened a while ago and I now have another generation of kids. TIA.

Hi Chezza,

I would highly recommend not uninstalling World Adventures. As that may cause even more game problems than it would fix.

It sounds as if your game glitched some where along the way. I'm not sure if there is a fix for it, other than to go back to a previous save. Did you save the game just before traveling to France? If so, go back to that save.

If you do have the before travel save and still don't want the dad in your game, you evict him from the household if you like.
