Updating Old Neighborhoods

Hey everybody,

I recently got Sims 3 Ambitions and Late Night, and I really love the new towns, Bridgeport and Twinbrook, but I miss playing the old towns. Is there a way you can make Riverview and Sunset Valley have bars, nightclubs, laundromats, etc? Or maybe they are already updated and I don't know. Thank you.

When you start a new Sunset Valley or Riverview the Ambitions lots will be placed in a very haphazard way. The Night Life ones do not place themselves. Go into edit town and there are blank lots you can place and then you can place the new Nightlife lots. They are all pretty big, Most use the 60x60 lot. In my dynasty I just used the road that has no houses on it in Sunset valley, bulldozed the empty lots and added a few big lots to put in the filming studio and a couble of bars. I wish there was an easier way. Good luck!

It is, with the following exceptions (from the rules):

•The Edit Town screen is off limits with three exceptions:
•Twinbrook and Bridgeport players can add the Book Corral to the town library, and
•Barnacle Bay players can use Edit Town features to place a Salon, Firehouse, Consignment Store, and Junkyard.
•Anyone is free to use Edit Town to assign lots as bars and lounges to take advantage of Late Night's Mixology and band content.

You can delete preplaced lots and add new ones in their place?

Yes with ambitions, or the patch that came at the same time you can do that.
