Forcing Multiple Births

After talking with TwistedMexi about debunking a forcetwins cheat, he actually discovered cheats that can force multiple births. I've updated the pregnancy guide with cheats that will force as many babies as your house can hold (max 8 members), but they are finicky and must be entered exactly right. Some people are saying they don't work, though I just managed to do it 3x in a row and capture screencaps for proof. You can have up to 7 babies, if in a household with a lone Sim who is pregnant by someone out of the household. Sims must be pregnant already for it to work, and the cheats won't produce the babies instantly. There is a separate cheat for forcing labor. Here are the commands. Head to the guide for further explanation.

Sims.get_sim_id_by_name firstname lastname     (this gets the Sim's unique ID number)

pregnancy.force_offspring_count ID # - so type out the ID exactly as you see it, and end it with the number of births you want.

pregnancy.force_offspring_count 1341302010235 5  would spawn 5 babies in the stomach of the Sim with that ID (That's a crazy concept, but yeah..)

Then, the pregnancy will run its course. I've determined reloading breaks it, but am not sure about travel, CAS, etc. I think it's best done in combination with:

sims.add_buff buff_pregnancy_inlabor to go into labor instantly.

Thought I'd make sure you guys are aware on this side of the site, as I know some of our storytellers would enjoy raising 7 babies haha.

I'd love to hear some feedback from some of you on how this worked for you, assuming no typos in the ID. If people do testing and determine just what breaks it, I'll update the page with the proper info.

I used this cheat last night hoping to have triplets and it worked like a charm.  My Sim ate strawberries (x3) and made food with the remaining strawberries so she ate that, too.  I had triplet daughters.  Thanks so much!

My Sims have had 6 babies at a time --- other times 4 --- so, whatever number of babies that I wanted my Sim to have is what I got .

Make sure you do not go through any loading screens after you have applied this cheat. So no CAS or traveling. Also make sure you are using your own sims actual names to get the simID not the words "firstname lastname".

Planning to try this with my Legacy family -- triple-birth, working parents, and a nanny (or two) for this upcoming generation.

So I tried this (with 7) and only had one baby. Looked at this thread, did the whole no loading screen thing and my sim just gave birth to one girl and seven boys. There's cots everywhere.

I have tried this multiple times and can't seem to get it working. I type each line carefully yet nothing changes. Any thoughts on what I am doing wrong or where the problem might be?

@brownrd It's been a long time, and sometimes some cheats break after an update.  So maybe someone can confirm whether this still works currently?
Also, did you catch the part about "no loading screens?"  So, no travel, no CAS, no exiting the game until the babies are born.
And easier than using this cheat, is MCCC.  That can force up to triplets, and specify their genders. 

Edit:  Confirmed, I threw together a couple from saved sims I have, and gave it a try.  Thor (yes, the Marvel character) and his adorable little redheaded wife are the proud but shocked parents of 1 boy and 4 girls.

Actually, MCCC can do up to 6, if you fiddle with the settings a bit.

Thanks Brian_Z. I  did get the bit about "no loading screens" and made sure everything is correct. Nothing seems to work. I have testingcheats enabled.
