Jewel Beetles

Hi, does anybody know when and exactly where these appear? I had some once and they spawned near the deep woods tunnel entrance on the deep woods/hermit's side. Then my game froze up solid and I had to quit w/o saving. Now I can't find them anywhere! I have a ton of Luna moths, but can't find the beetles. I also can't seem to find the dust spirits in the places where they're supposed to be. I cleared out the cache files, but that didn't help. Is my game bugged? Is there a way to force a spawner for these?

Hi Sonshine, I'm going to move this to the Outdoor Retreat section where you should get some answers.

I know that jewel beetles spawn in the same place that the walking sticks used to, near the round garden in the hermits area where you find the morel mushrooms etc.

Thanks! I finally found the dust spirits. Now if only I can find the beetles and *maybe* even the walking stick!
