Repair Game on Origin

Hi Athaela,

It doesn't take long at all. I'd say maybe under 5 minutes. As for if it will actually repair the game or not, that really depends on what's really wrong with the game.

Repair Game checks all of the game's files on your computer against the files on Origin's servers. It then downloads and replaces any files that don't match. It (as far as I know) doesn't affect any files in your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 folder, but it's a good idea to back that up before running Repair Game.

I need help, my game has been experiencing multiple glitches and while looking through the forum I stumbled across this thread. I went to the Origins web page and looked for the repair game yet was unable to find it listed anywhere and there was no "contact us" option at the bottom of the page. Exactly where is the repair game on Origin? I'll keep looking but would appreciate any help.

@SpeaksWithSpirits Heya, open up Origin and go to My Games. Right click on The Sims 3 and you should see several options and one will say Repair Game. Click that and it starts to work. Make sure you have the game closed and as always keep a backup copy.
