What a cute toddler. And I love that picture of her and the cat. :)

Is there something in the water of Sunset Valley that makes everyone grow up so quickly? It seems that just yesterday, sweet Anne was crawling around with her somewhat frightening doll, and now she is embarking on the journey of the Dynasty helper. We purchased her first easel yesterday. Her paintings remind me of the frightening doll of her childhood. My little Amelia is growing as well. One day, she was a happy bundle in her baby swing, and now She seems to have taken up residence in her toybox.

The unspeakable happened. Claire aged. She did not tell us that she was celebrating her birthday, but she ran across the street to Summer Hill Springs, which we purchased, saying she had a meeting with Christopher Steel, who is now a fairy.

It was not a meeting. No, Claire aged up alone, with only Bunches and an Alvi or two for company. Oh, and Christopher. But he wasn't much help.

Well, I would have been quite frustrated with her for not telling us that it was her birthday, but there were bigger things on my mind.

Such as the paparazzi that almost burned to death on our front lawn! Ah well. No one is perfect.

Except, of course, my Amelia.

She is the most even tempered toddler I have ever had the pleasure to meet. Unlike Claire's Anne, who grew into a lovely girl with a rather unfortunate nose, my daughter never throws tantrums. Perhaps that has something to do with the way the adults and elders in this house rush to her side the minute she has a slightly negative moodlet.

In no time, it seemed, it was time for my sweet baby girl to grow up.

I carried her to the cake, and with a twirl, and some sparkles...

...my nooboo became a child.

Amelia wanted to rush off to fix her hair right away, but I convinced her to stay for some cake.

Immediately afterward, she ran off to the mirror, coming back with long, messy braids and stars painted on her cheek.

Oh! And I aged up as well.

Just in case you wondered.

Wow, Amelia is gorgeous, I think she'll be breaking a lot of hearts when she's older  ;)

(i'm going back to narrating it from my point of view in the hopes that it will make me get more muse for this story)

Amelia is probably one of the best sim kids I've had to this day. She has a tendency to get home from school after Anne does, because she stops and does her homework before coming home. It's pretty adorable.

I've sort of been ignoring Anne, because all she really does is paint in preparation for when Connor and Jared pass, so it took me by surprise when she aged up.

Check out that hair!

Of course, I fixed that pretty quickly. I refuse to allow a sim to run around looking like something out of an old fashioned horror movie.

She's up to level four painting at this point, I think, and I've been saving her paintings for when she's a YA, because I'll probably put her in the painting career. Or maybe until she dies, because I'm hoping they'll appreciate.

Connor aged up too. He was in the middle of writing a masterpiece.

Amelia is an imaginative little sim. She loves her dollhouse.

She also loves the TV. I can always look for her there if I lose her.

I got a notification that the Landgraabs had puppies, so I sent Connor over to get one. I can't remember its name, but it's super cute.

in other news... I found a freezer bunny gnome.

It likes the garden the best. I think it's plotting something, but I'm not sure what.

Ah, the gnomes, I despise them so much, lol. Poor Anne, at least she will leave behind paitings if nothing else.

Bad news, guys. Amelia aged up to Young Adult and I realized I totally spaced on her teen portrait, which makes this my third dynasty to go to the graveyard :(
