Experiences in The Time Machine!

Hi! A Sim family bought a time machine in the consignment store. I let my brave Sim be the first one to go in it... at first, he went to the future...nothing significant happened.  So the following day, he went to the past ... I think
he relived a certain bad moment in the past related to his work... Next thing I
knew his position and career has CHANGED!!!    He stepped out of the time machine thinking things will turn out as normal... but NO! He became a big time
dealer whatnot (or top of the business career) while before he was the Leader of the World (top of the politics career) - which he and I love him to be in! I had to quit the game without saving, my brave Sim would absolutely HATE to be in the business career... Eversince then, I hid the Time Machine in the inventory so it
wouldn't do anymore shocking changes to my Sims! Anyone else have interesting experiences to share about the Time Machine? Ciao!
