Ingots Disappearing

Help! I'm trying to move/place ingots on the display case for transfiguring or even on the ground and they're disappearing? Could it be a bugged ingot or a general bug in the game?

Welcome to our Forum, stryder.

Sometimes ingots drop behind the display case or onto the ground on the other side of the wall.  It's just a little tricky sometimes to get them placed exactly right on the display before releasing it.

Then how can I see them? Tried dropping even in a wide open spot on the driveway and a couple just seemed to poof!

Are you sure they're not popping back into your inventory (or wherever you keep them)?
