After turning on the cheats you can shift click on object an select Set as Head and it will put a copy of the object on your head. Shift click the object on your head and select Reset Object (Debug) and it will put it on the floor. You can then go into build/buy mode and sell the new item for full purchase price.
For example, buy the $12,000 bed and in live mode shift click and Set as Head then shift click again and Reset Object to place the copy on the ground then go into buy mode again and sell it for $12,000. You still have the original bed and your $12,000 back. Do it all again and you made $12,000 profit. And on and on...
