Uploading photos to my post

Hi, I'm not sure where to put this, but I need a tutorial or help in uploading pics to my post. I just started a challenge and tried to upload pics from my Flickr acct, but they didn't work. Could somebody please show me what to do? Thanks!

Try using photobucket. There are instructions on the forum, but it's pretty simple, just click on "links" and choose the one for forums and boards.

As Lisa suggested, you can try using Photobucket to share photos with the forum.

Or here's a little note I have for sharing photos with the forum.

To Share a Photo:

01.) Upload your photos to a photo sharing site, such as Photobucket.
02.) After you've uploaded a photo, look around for a button/icon that says Share this photo and follow the directions that they give you.

For example: Using Flickr

01.) Click the Share this photo button.
02.) Change it from HTML to BBCode
03.) Select what size you want from the drop down menu.
04.) Then copy and paste the highlighted link into your message post.

If you need to, use this thread to practice getting the hang of sharing photos.

Thanks Mrs Flynn! I tried your code (width=850 height=477]) inserted after [img, but the pics are still broken. So, my code looks like this for one of the pics. [img width=850 height=477 ] (no space between 477 and the bracket)https://www.flickr.com/photos/35456675@N00/16094859357/[/img ] (again, no space before the bracket). Maybe I'm missing something here and I think the pics are too big and I need to resize the pic somehow? It's been a while since I've used Flickr and it has changed a lot. I kind of hate to give it up though. I'll try asking some of my friends for how to resize it.

While testing, we found that it seems like you can't direct link to a photo on Flickr. But was able to learn more about how to share photos with Flickr.

For Flickr:

01.) Click the Share this photo button.
02.) Change it from HTML to BBCode
03.) Select what size you want from the drop down menu.
04.) Then copy and paste the highlighted link into your message post.

So I'm going to edit this into my post, just in case it's needed later.
