Accident deletion of file

Hi, While playing a different file, I accidently deleted my legacy file.. is there any way to recover this?  As stupid me did not make a back up..

Hi KTK,

We've accidentally deleted files before. We use Recuva to recover them. (a free file recovery program) It may work, but the more times the drive is written to since the deletion, the less likely any recovery program will work.

No luck for me - I think that I must have saved over the files way too many times. I actually don't have a clue when I deleted it either.

... I did the same thing today... and I can't seem to get the recovery program to work right... I don't know what to do.

We haven't used Recuva for awhile, so we don't remember the exact steps to take. However, I did a quickie search on How to use it, and found this how-to:

I found some stuff on it myself.  My file was unrecoverable, sadly.
