Anyone had problems with the card table?

I just tried it and glitched really badly, I was wondering if others had problems.
I had my Sim call 3 mates, and order pizza. 1 friend turned up so my Sim and him went to play cards without problems, the pizza arrived and they broke off to eat. Then my Sim made drinks which they both took to the card table and started playing cards again. I took a screen capture and both Sims were reset away from the table (mine with a glass stuck in his hand!) so I had the Sim say goodbye to his pal and sent him to the pub to reset before bringing him home again. When he returned home the card table and chairs had disappeared, so had the pizza. I exited without saving.

I am going to go back and try again.

Problem I have with it is the Sims kept popping up to standing after a few minutes of playing cards. Finally gave up and deleted the table.

I don't even use card table, I'd rather use chess table cause it has more whim thingy that make my sims want to do it.

I tried it again with family members and it worked fine, so I don't know what the weird glitch was about.
I really want the card table to work with parties because I am missing group activities like game consoles and the draughts table.
