Sims3packs won't disappear after i deleted it from Downloads folder

So i uninstalled some sims3packs from launcher, then i deleted it from Downloads, but they just won't disappear from my game! in my game, those sims3packs have icons like installed package files. i'm so frustrated, please help me 

(updates: apparently, i was being an idiot once. (please bear with me) so i just realized that the first time i tried uninstalling sims3packs, after i uninstalled them, i deleted them from Downloads folder, not the Downloads in launcher. now, those sims3packs stuck in my game. i have no friggin' idea how to remove them.)

ive never tried uninstalling sims3packs, but my guess would be that every time you save it saves everything.  if you start a new game it should be gone, as to how to get rid of it in your current save i dont know

Hi Aprilzhang,

Something that may help is to try a factory reset? - Before you do this, make a back up of your Sims 3 folder. Just in case you want to save your saved games and game options, and user presets.

Factory Reset

Move your Sims 3 folder to the desktop or some where safe, and rename it something like Sims 3 Current. Click the Sims 3 icon to create a new Sims 3 folder. (This is different from a total-game reinstall - This just sets the game back to factory default.)

If you want to continue to play your previous game-saves, go into the Sims3 folder that you backed up and copy over your game saves, files and such over to the new game to see if that helps.

I solved a problem like this with a factory reset so it should work!
