Picking up and moving Sims
« on: November 05, 2014, 12:34:43 AM »
Is there any way to pick up Sims on your lot and move them to another location on your lot. Both your Sims and your invited guests?  Thank you for any help.

Hi tonycdh, you can't actually pick up any sims in TS4 (like you can using cheats in TS3) but you'll find that if you're building then the sim automatically positions away from whatever your moving or building.  :)

That is actually one of my (many) favorite new features of The Sims 4. It makes building and "remodeling" sooo much easier.

Darn.  I was trying to be a little sadistic and kill some neighboring Sims that were over during a house party by putting them in the pool succumbing to a watery grave. Oh well. I guess the only other thing I can do is cheat and add them to my household and drown them.  Unless anyone has any better ways of killing meddlesome Sims?

You can go into Manage Household mode and delete a sim...it is quicker than trying to kill them!

@ SimsSherry, very true... but you don't get that satisfaction watching a really annoying sim die a long, drawn out death!  ;)

@ tonycdh, if your sim gets into a group chat with the annoying sim, you can then click on the pool and choose "swim here together' option... once the annoying sim is in the pool, get your sim to jump out; go into build mode, fence in the pool.... sit back and watch and wait with glee.  ;)
