Remove clown makeup from base game?

Hi, so, recently my girlfriend has downloaded the sims 4 and she happens to have an insane phobia of clowns. I've told her to avoid the face paint category but she happened to come across the clown makeup anyway in the makeup section. Obviously this is stressful especially if she wants to add cc to the game and it shows in the facepaint section. Is there a way to remove certain base game files from the game itself so I can help her remove those dumb clown suits and paint?

From what I understand players can't hide or disable CAS items they don't like or use, by default. Regardless of if it came from base game or another pack.

It may be worth checking if there are any mods which can hide CAS outfits, a general internet search will bring up loads but you could also ask on the 'Where Can I Find' (WCIF) sections of Sims4Studio.  Check out ModTheSims and TheSimsResource as well.

Double check that you're reading a thread about Sims 4 as there are a lot that are about Sims 3.
