Sculpting Problem

Why is my sim constantly making toilets and shelvings instead of real sculptures? It really bugs me :S

If you tell your Sim just to sculpt, the objects will be random and will unlock new designs over time.  Once an object has been sculpted, you can specify what you want your Sim to sculpt and he'll make what you want.

OK, Thanks... Another thing with sculpting, sometimes I just put my sim there to sculpt and do the Ultra speed, becouse the other one is at work. When the sim should be done sculpting there is no sculpture. (Ice)

Sometimes the block shatters before the sculpture is completed.  I've never seen this happen with a Sim that has the Savvy Sculptor trait, though.
