Children in Tombs
« on: October 24, 2010, 03:00:13 AM »
One of my families was adventuring in China, and I had one of their twin daughters, who's adventurous, go out to find metals and stones. (The other one stayed at the hotel and wrote. She's anything but adventurous.) It was almost her curfew, but I had a lot of actions chained up for her, so I just decided to see how far she could get. When it was past her curfew, she began running towards the road, and I expected her to be "following" Esmeralda, her mother, but instead, her interaction was to follow Zhan, her father, who was currently deep inside the dragons maw! She entered without problem, and reached her father in no time. All she really did was follow her father around while he solved puzzles, and sleep and eat, but it was still cool. Has anyone else had this happen?

I haven't had children spontaneously enter tombs, but my legacy heir used to help out her father in tombs (by collecting loot and stuff) while completing some of the photography collections, and I started her doing that as a child.  At first I was really nervous about letting her near traps, but she seemed to have no trouble avoiding them, including the hidden ones.  Her father caught fire quite a few times, but she would just walk around.
