Ambrosia
« on: October 02, 2014, 11:53:03 AM »
With the newest patch, there is a new way to bring dead Sims back to life, and features the return of Ambrosia.

To make Ambrosia, you will need to reach Level 10 - Gourmet Cooking (implying Level 10 in regular Cooking), and Level 7 of Gardening.

You will need an Angelfish, Death Flower, and Potion of Youth.

-  You get a Death Flower by grafting a Pomegranate and Orchid.  (Pomegranates are made by splicing Apple and Cherry trees, while Orchids appear after you finish the Space Rock Collection)

-  You can get the Fountain of Youth from the Rewards Store for 1500 Satisfaction Points.

I'll do Ambrosia early next week, then do the Cooking skills as I'll take notes while I work my way up there. Thankfully you kind folks already provided information on recipes, so I just have to do some screen grabs and cutting so I can get pictures for all of the recipes :D

Great info! Thanks so much. I liked the info on splicing apple and cherry since the pomegranate I got from fishing planted but disappeared just like all my Cow Plants do. Crazy! Where do I catch Angelfish? Oh, I should look this up in the guide. I'm at level 10 gourmet so I'm ready.
