Successful lineage aspiration

I just had the "have child or grandchild reach top of career" complete when my sims child reached the top of a teen career.

Is this a glitch or has someone else seen the same thing?

If so, that's great, but I think last time one of my sims kids reached the top of a teen career it didn't complete so I'm not 100% sure it is supposed to work this way...

I figured that's what it meant, since it would take so long for a child to reach adulthood and then complete the career that it would require some potion in order to make the parent sim live long enough to pull it off :-/

It makes sense, I just thought it didn't register the first time a kid made it to the top - but maybe that was the glitch and this is the real thing
