Replace sims

Hello, is there any possible way to replace my current sims to another sims which is downloaded from the gallery?
I know that we could edit it using the CAS cheat, but what I want is replace it...

Welcome to the forum 
You can add sims to your household at any point in the game. Then take your sims household into CAS without cheats and delete the sim you no longer want.

Hmm...First, thanks for the reply.
I get what you mean, but what i'm trying to do was, replace the existing character, because I don't want the current sims to lose it's status, trait or achievement...
(I remembered I could easily replace the existing sims in sims 3)...

I'm really not sure what you mean by replace? Do you want to switch households and play another sim?

So I created Sims A , lets say Sims A has live in the world for 30days and achieved a lot achievement.
And then I downloaded Sims B from the gallery. I want to keep Sims A status but want to change his appearance to same as Sims B( face/ body not clothing )
so do you know what I mean 
Is there anyway to do so?

I don't think there is any simple way to do this. Even if you make a clone the clone doesn't have the skills from the original sim nor their relationships etc. The only way I can think is to use the cas.fulledit cheat and manually manipulate your sim to look like the second sim.

If you are interested the cloning machine is from the Science Career from Get To Work. It unlocks at Level 5 of the career. But a clone will only make a second version of a sim, not do what you want to do.

Hi @zzshin ,

I suppose you can write down what your Sim A has achieved then delete him and use cheats to give Sim B the same skills/promotions, etc. Carl has this page with cheats: The Sims 4 Cheats
