Obtrusive Graphical Glitch on Newly Built Mansion
« on: September 11, 2014, 12:30:05 AM »
Hi,
While playing The Sims 3 with all expansions I encountered an annoying graphical glitch (see screenshot). The glitch started when I switched back to live mode after I had just finished building a house, which had taken me hours. While building the house I used the cheat constrainfloorelevation false (this cheat was not active at the moment of the screenshot) in order to build the house into the hill. I think this glitch may have something to do with this cheat.

In order to get rid of the glitch I've tried the following already:

Switch between live, build, buy mode
Go far away on the map and return
Restart the game after saving it
Opening an older save where the building was almost finished
Copy the building and paste it onto another lot

None of these have helped yet.

Does anyone know what the problem is? I'd very much like to be able to use this mansion.

PS - I compressed the screenshots to a .rar file, because for some reason I can't post JPEGs here.
