Forever-lasting loading screen
« on: September 30, 2014, 05:31:43 PM »
Every time I tell my sims to "change appearance" or "plan outfit", the game gets stuck in the loading screen and it will just load forever. I always have to open the task manager and close the game down. I have no other problems with the game. I read somewhere that keeping the cheats on could make the game crash and such, but I haven't noticed any difference. It always happens when I choose these actions, no matter what. So, why is this happening and how can I stop it? I guess I could just never do those things, but I'd still like to know why it happens.

Have you added any cc?  Since your crashes seem CAS related that could be a cause.

Hi Ijzabela,

You could try deleting the cache files to see if that would help. Here's a link that can help with that.

Delete Cache Files

Hope this helps, :)

Also, see if it still happens if you start the game with Origin offline.

Seems like clearing the cache did it, even though it was only a couple of files. Thank you for the replies, everyone!
