How do I get rid of puddles
« on: October 18, 2014, 09:11:58 PM »
I've been gardening for the aspiration awards and there are a number of puddles on the ground which I can't delete.  When he finishes the gardening section I will dispose of most of the plants but the yard looks a mess.  How can I get rid of them?

I moved my plants and put down a few floor tiles.  They went under the puddle.  I then had a sim mop the floor, and I then deleted the tiles and moved the plants back to where I wanted them.

Sims with the neat trait can mop the outdoor puddles, too.  If your sim has a neat acquaintance, invite them over and after talking to them breifly, leave them alone and they might clean up for you.  My sims have had neat guests clean counters, clean spoiled food out of the fridge, and scrub the toilet.

Great.  Thanks, I appreciate the tip.  I saw the neat freak bubble when I tried to have him mop the puddles.  I don't know any neat sims at this point.

I've had my sim stomp in the puddles and that would get rid of them.

It takes a lot of stomping, lol.  I had to have them do it numerous times.  I didn't know about placing tiles, good idea.

Stomping is a good idea too if you only have one or two.  I did have him play in one puddle, but clearly not enough as even that puddle remained.  But I had a lot of puddles.  Thanks.

Don't the puddles go away a while after watering the plants?

On occasion they have, but I find mostly they don't.  The flooring trick works great.
