Purchase own published books?

Are you able to do this, if so could someone let me know where the option is?

I haven't written one but the three places I'd check is the bookcase, computer and mailbox.

I triple checked the bookshelf, double checked the order books section and checked the computer, unfortunately nothing.

It's just a little annoying since once you publish (at least self publish) the book disappears never to be seen again.

My chef sim self-published a few recipe books and I haven't been able to find anywhere to buy them from. Maybe it's just something that can't be done?

I don't think it can be done, between my two current families they have written around 50 books, and neither family can purchase their own books and only occasionally do the other families books show up.

It's 2 squares wide and about 8 squares long, you do need a lot of space to plant it

all books appear in your inventory when completed, it's just that when you publish them, you can't go and buy them.
