My Sims don't have any degree history

My three young sdult girls are at college and doing business, communications, and fine arts degrees. Only my fine arts girl has anything in her degree history, which is Fine Arts - A grade. I read somewhere else about a similar situation where only that persons third Sim, which was also doing Fine Arts, had it show up in the degree history. Is this a coincidence or do some degrees show up and others don't for any of you?
