Death by time anomaly

When trying to create a ghost sim via CAS, I noticed another new kind of death: time anomaly. What event that causes this death? Is it related to time travelling?

It is a future death. For some reason I have it show up even without owning ITF.

When time traveling, a Sim can develop a time sickness.  It can be treated at the hospital, but if left untreated the Sim will die in a few days.

Sounds like dying because of time paradox. How many time travel is required before developing time sickness?

It can vary -- some Sims get it the first trip, others have to travel more often. Your sim does have to go to the hospital for it; otherwise he'll keep getting sicker and then die.

My sims have never had time sickness even though they've travelled more than 3 times, so I think it's a small random chance. Thanks anyway
