Okay, so I'm just gonna say this beforehand, to those of you who know this story, I deleted it before because I wasn't pleased with where it was going. But I intend to redo it the new way I have set up. Same characters, but a different locale and a slightly different way of going about things. There will be deaths, and gifts are still encouraged, I'll just be redoing the interviews and then we'll jump headlong into everything. Our winner will get a mighty big surprise at the end, so whoever you want to see have their own spinoff, let's hope they win."Welcome Simmers to the Hunger Games! A game of survival and endurance. So you guys, you usually see us pit our contestants against all odds out in the wilderness and let them have at it, right? Well, this time, we've got a little twist. They'll be cooped up in one house together. But they can't get to each other in order to duke it out. Oh no, that's not how we're doing things this time. They will all be placed in a task. They can't see the other's scores from each task, and have no idea who they'll be up against. Then they'll duke it out with another contestant. But enough about that! Let's meet our contestants!"
"Welcome our first contestant! Shane Rights! This man is Genius, Schmoozer, Heavy Sleeper, Green Thumb, and Ambitious! So tell us Shane, in this sort of competition, how do you feel your traits will benefit you?"
"Well, as a Genius Green Thumb, I feel I'll do quite well, I feel I can bring certain cards to the table that our other contestants can't. But then again, I don't know what their traits are."
"And that's how its going to be, you see Shane, this go around, everything is a complete surprise, except to our readers!"
"Well, that's rubbish, how are we going to one up them?"
"With your wit!"
"Our next contestant, Patti Voltage, is a Brave, Hot-Headed, Irresistable Genius who Loves the Heat. So Patti, how are you going to get yourself ahead in the game?"
"Well, I know it's going to be hard as in previous games we knew each other's traits, we just couldn't find them, in this one, it's the complete opposite."
"Have you ever been in a Hunger Games before?"
"No, the 'we' was to refer to the past generations of the Hunger Games."
"Ah, I see Patti."
"I thought it was rather obvious you dolt."
"Contestant number three is Frank Lee...Frank Lee Bewildered? Okay...well, his traits are Brave, Insane, Loner, Daredevil and Athletic. Frank, how do you-"
"Actually it's Frank Lee sir."
"Oh...okay, so Frank Lee, how do you think your traits are going to help you?"
"That's easy! As a super hero I'm used to putting my traits as my number one priority in order to save lives. As I'm brave, athletic and a daredevil, I'm willing to put myself in harms way to save others, and my athleticism means I'm able to endure it more than most sims would."
"I see, you're a super hero?"
"Yes, yes of course! Why else would I be in my outfit?"
"This...this is your superhero outfit?"
"Yes, I wanted my fans to know that even superheros get put in these types of situations, and that their endurance can save them no matter what."
"Our fourth contestant, Amy Trash! She's Good, a Gatherer, Athletic, Angler, and a Green Thumb. Amy, why don't you tell us how you feel your traits will benefit you in this type of situation, because in all honestly, you sound more like the outdoorsy type to me."
"Oh, I am, I do feel it will be a challenge for me to strive, as this challenge is completely indoors, I would have planned on using my survival instincts more than I will be. But hopefully I can persevere and make it through mostly unharmed." -Amy laughs lightly- "But let's face it, outdoorsy sims thrive better outside than in."
"This is true, but the best of luck to you Amy."
"Our fifth contestant, Grita Jameson ladies and gentlesims! Grita is Neurotic, Can't Stand Art, Unstable, Commitment Issues, and Dislikes Children!"
"Of course I do! They stink, they cry, they whine, and they're always in the way! They're so needy as well! I guess the same thing could be said for my ex-wife ha!"
"My goodness, sounds like you never want a family."
"Of course not, nobody needs to pass on my genes. I'll just get a scientist to clone me, then my clone will go have children and leave me alone. Then my genes get passed on and I can die alone like I'm meant to. Or die here. Either way we're all going to die."
"My my...you're quite the optimist aren't you?"
"Optimists are fools, we all know bad things happen, why try and sugar coat it?"
"Liz Anobra, our sixth contestant! She's Absent-Minded, Brave, Irresistible, Natural Cook, and an Angler. Welcome Liz, how are you feeling about the games?"
"A little nervous to be honest, I'm just hoping my traits will be enough, I know all of us start out with no skills in this. Is that true?"
"It is. I guess I could mention this now, you all have to build up your skills, and hope it will be enough to survive the tests thrown at you."
"Okay. Well, here's to luck!"
"Our seventh contestant, Jackson Lowes! Jackson, do you think you'll thrive in this competition?"
"No. I'm no good at this sorta thing. I'm terrified beyond all belief. I mean, my traits have nothing to do with this..."
"That's right, you are a Daredevil, Genius, Handy, Eccentric, and a Computer Whiz."
"Yeah, now tell me, does any of that say winner? Not to me."
"Our eighth and final contesant, Clover Pine! She's a Star Quality, Great Kisser, Loves the Outdoors, Grumpy, and a diva! Miss Pine, let me just say, it's an honor to have you here, do you think you'll do well?"
"Oh, why thank you sweet heart! I'm so happy to be here. I've always wanted to be on this game."
"Oh, you did?"
"Of course! It's a wonderful game, and everybody here does such a good job. I know when I win I will send you all a gift for such hard work."
"Oh my, you are very confident, aren't you?"
"Absolutely! Confidence is key! If you are completely down and everything, just tell yourself you'll do a wonderful job! And you definitely will!"
LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!!Footnote: If you wish to send a contestant a gift or something, tell me who and what you would like them to get.
They will get three meals a day. But it's literally only one plate that they have to fight over. Whoever doesn't get it goes back to try again at the next meal. But whoever got a plate before doesn't get to try again.
With this in mind. Enjoy!
