need help

hi guys, i'm new to the forum, i have a question.
i'm using an older laptop (operating system windows 7) and planning to buy new one (operating system windows . i have the cds of sims 3, late night, ambitions and downloaded island paradise from origin. my question might be silly ; is it possible to copy the games and paste to new laptop or do i have to install all to the new laptop?

You have to install the game.

If you have custom content or save games, you can transfer those over with a flash drive. I do that all the time.

But yeah, you have to reinstall the games themselves.
