Need Help with Gardening Skill Opportunities

heya! I only have base game and late night installed. I have received the gardening opportunity that allows you to plant more (sausages etc) I had completed it in sunset valley before, but when I got it this time playing late night it wont let me complete it because (obviously) it is still attached to the place in sunset valley.... I tried taking a copy of it using the edit town stuff and placed it in late night, but it still doesn't recognise it.. am I doing something wrong? is it just not possible? really frustrating me!! anyone else get this?

I take it you mean the ability to plant cheese/eggs or steaks and meat patties? It shouldn't matter where you are living as the opportunity can be completed anywhere. Once the opportunity comes up and you accept it then you just need to plant the foodstuff in your garden. Have you tried buying the foodstuffs from the local grocery and planting it? Once you plant the cheese and eggs, it can take quite a while for the steaks and meat patties opportunity to arrive. But once you've done both opportunities then you should get three omni plant seeds in your sims inventory as a reward for completing the whole opportunity chain.

Or are you just trying to buy omni plant seeds because you have actually grown the plants? If it's ordering omni plant seeds you just click on your letter box and a menu option will appear.

I've got a level 10 gardener that can order omni seeds no matter which town I move her to. So other than you having an unfortunate glitch I'm not sure.

Welcome to our Forum, cassie217.

Your post is a little confusing to me.  You've completed the gardening opportunities for the extra plantables in Sunset Valley, correct?  If your Bridgeport file is a new file, the opportunities will come along just as they did in your Sunset Valley file.  If it's the same file where you moved your Sunset Valley to Bridgeport while in the game, you won't need to do the opportunities again.  If you can explain a little more, we can help you better.

Also, this is not directly relating to Late Night, so I'm moving it to the Skills board.

ah sorry, hard too explain... im playin late nights. I received the opportunities but I couldn't complete it for some reason.. I just needed to go to the diner to complete it, but there was no option... ive read more recently that it could be something to do with rabbit holes??

It could be something to do with rabbit holes. There's a bug that means you can't complete opportunities at combined rabbit holes. However, if I remember rightly, the diner isn't I combined rabbit hole in Bridgeport. Are you sure it's the diner and not the bistro? The bistro is a combined rabbit hole, if I got those the right way around.

There is currently a bug with the omni plant opportunity chain.  If the opportunity wants you to turn in to a location not found in bridgeport, you can decline or drop the opp, wait for another phone call to come in with the correct bistro listed (in bridgeport).

Adding the bistro from sunset valley to bridgeport won't solve the problem, you just have to hope a phone call coming in with the correct turn in location.
