Lost Lot

Hi!
Recently my computer died and I didn't properly back up a lot I spent hours working on (because I'm stupid!). It only existed in the Lot Bin. However, I do have access to all of the old files, including the program files. Is it possible to still get this lot back? Can I launch the game from the existing files or somehow find it?

You can copy the contents of Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 to your new Documents location. That's if you still have the old ones.

If you mean you just have your old game files, not your user created files (which is all your saves, sims, etc), then no. You cannot back up your lot from that.
