I just got a new computer, since my old one crashed and need to re-install the sims. I have the download version. I downloaded the base game yesterday, but didn't have time to test it. I tried to start downloading my expansion packs, but I just got a message saying I needed to go to the launcher and update. I tried to open the launcher, and it just told me that it wasn't working. Any thoughts on how I can get it all working? I should add that I got the download a while ago, and it's no longer available on amazon, and my new computer is a window 8.1, while my old one was windows 7.
