I can't save my household to my library!

Hi there
Sorry for my english, its not very good.
But i have a BIG problem.
I'm encountering Error Code 12 alot, (error when saving.) and i want to change my neighborhood aswell.
So. I want to save my current household to my library. But everytime i go to Edit Town, click my current household, press ''Save to Library.''
It says ''are you sure?'' etc. Then i press 'yes.' Then it says ''processing.'' And then, about two minutes later, my computer says ''Sims 3 does not respond.''
I tried almost everything. Like shutting everything off, (skype, my browser, etc.) Can someone please help me!?

I found the following regarding Error Code 12 which you might find useful.  It sounds like your save file has gotten corrupted.  This method sounds like it will force the game to create a fresh save and hopefully fix it so you can save to the library again.

Two hours ago i pressed save to library again, but it is still processing. Dont know why it takes so long, but it havent crash yet. Which is something big. I'll wait another two or three hours, and if it is still processing then i have to shut it off i think

EDIT: Its not working Have to stop playing sims i think.

Try to adjust all graphics setting to the lowest before you save. I hope this can help.

I dont care about the saving, but it bugs me that i cant save my household to my library.

Have you tried to use the Move to a New Town interaction?  Get them out of the town they are in and see if that fixes it.

No. Cause i cant patch my Sims 3 for some reason, and yes, i know. My Sims is kind of messed up, so many problems..
