Easy Question re: Season Length

Just a quick question I hope to find an answer to without loading up my game and playing through a season.  When it says 3 days left until summer, does that count the current day?  Does 3 days left mean less than 72 sim hours, or 72 sim hours plus whatever is left of the current day?

It's been my experience that it includes the day. So it should be 72 hours or left (depending on the time).

Yes, since when the next day is fall it says 1 day till fall  ;D
