Playable ghost opportunity

My brother received the opportunity to bring the tombstone of one of his family members to the science lab to make the ghost playable, but he accidentally canceled the opportunity! Will that opportunity ever arise again for that Sim?

Hi Nate and welcome to our Forum!

The opportunity will likely come again, but there's no telling how long it will be.  Try putting the tombstone in the Sim's inventory and clicking on the Science Lab.  It's possible that you can still bring the ghost back for a fee of $5,000.  I'm certain it can be done after using the opportunity, but I'm not certain if you can do it for a fee without completing the opportunity first.  Let us know how it all works out!

Thanks! I'll have him try the next time he plays.

I received the same opportunity except was a co-worker brought back...he's been added to my family. I didn't know this information and thought it was a cash opportunity...big mistake!, I need to restart? or is there some way to get rid of him?

You can tell the ghost to move out on his phone then there should be a kick out option you can select on the menu that comes up.

And when you kick the ghost out, he'll leave the house and won't be in your control anymore.  He'll take possession of an empty house and just live there.  You'll probably see him around town, too.

I reinstalled Sims 3 and expansions, restarted because to much custom content was causing technical problems.
I encountered another technical issue which made me reload a saved game, do I need to restart or continue?

I'm not sure about your question.  Restart or continue what?
