Mute singer glitch?
« on: April 26, 2014, 08:22:24 PM »
My sim is a Local Favourite singer, when I go to have him perform at gigs, I can never hear him!
He sings, He dances, people cheer him, it's literally a normal gig apart from the fact he makes no sound other than speaking in between songs!
Can anyone help me fix this glitch? It's really irritating me and kind of ruining the whole experience.
(Could it have something to do with the fact he had two guitars in his inventory? I bought the Iconic Jam guitar with buydebug and I've only had the problem since then. I sold it, but he carried on with the mute gig. Help!)

Welcome to the forum, Rocky-Roo.  I'm afraid I'm not able to be of much help because I usually play with the sound muted, but I'm wondering if you've tried adjusting the game's audio settings?  If that doesn't work, hopefully someone else will be along with other suggestions soon.

Enjoy the forum!  :)

Also, have you tried exiting the game and restarting?

Hi, don't know if your problem is solved, but maybe this site can help you. It has many good tips.

EDIT: I have been checking on this site for myself, but meanwhile I found this page for you.
It basically says this as a solution:

- Switch the Sim to their Stage Cloth prior to getting on stage
- Give your Sim a second career outfit

Hope this helps! :)
Problem? Don't panic! There is always a solution. You just have to find it  :D
