hot tub and painter career

2 questions for anyone because I can't figure it out. One of the wishes that keeps popping up is to buy a hot tub. I can't find it anywhere in Ambitions. Any suggestions?
2nd question - it wants my sim to join the painter career? Is that the sculpture area or is there a painter career somewhere?

1 - The Hotub came with Late Night and can be found in Plumbing. If you only have Ambitions it must be some glitch that EA have overlooked.

2 - The Painting Career is a self-employed career when your Sim learns to paint on the easel they can use their phone to register -> Self-Employed Painter. Or just go directly to City Hall. You need an Easel or possibly the Sketching Table but I am not sure about that.

Thank you samoht04. Appreciate it. I haven't gotten around to downloading Late Night yet. I had to replace my main yet defective Sims 3 disc after talking to EA. Everything was wiped out so I basically had to start again with my play and decided to start with Ambitions since I hadn't done that one yet.

I relatively new to the forum although I've been using this guide since I started playing.
