I've had two meteor deaths happen on my games before; one was for a regular playing file, and the meteor came at my equestrian sim who couldn't get out of the way in time cause she took forever to get off the horse. Second time was during my first attempt at the immortal dynasty challenge, and my two teen sons got hit by the meteor when they were at school (and inside the building). They couldn't get out in time, and died.

Ahhh, such a terrible experience.

Every time I play on Sunlit tides, my female sims always get hit by meteors. I don't know why that is, but it is. Crazy eh? :P

I know this topic is old but I've encountered meteors for the first time(I've played this game for ages and never encountered a single one) and well...I think my experience might be a little unprecedented. See, my sim was touring the military base in Lunar Lakes when I got the notification. She got out as the meteor hit and only got singed but the entire military base was completely annihilated. As in, there's nothing there left except soot. When you zoom out to map view, the tag for the military base is gone. Has anyone ever had an actual rabbit hole destroyed by a meteor before? I'm guessing it's because of how teeny the rabbit holes in Lunar Lakes are? It doesn't really bother be game play wise because my sim is an explorer but it's unnerving me a little. Does anyone know if the base will be rebuilt or if Lunar Lakes is now left without a military? (This is doing amazing things for my narrative though, let me tell you)

It means Lunar Lakes is without a military, unless you decide to replace the rabbithole.

I've never had an entire rabbithole destroyed by a meteor, but I've heard of it happening.

I was very shocked when it happened because I had the idea that meteor attacks would only destroy houses and lots, not rabbit holes! Thanks for your reply, I think I'll keep Lunar Lakes without a military force for a while, at least until my narrative needs my sim to rebuild it.  ;D
