Question regarding Omni Plants and Produce

I was wondering something about Omni Plants.  Both my Sims can grow them and I wanted to be able to grow Perfect Links, Roasts, and Tofu because I wanted to stock my fridge with all Perfect produce.  I thought it would be fun and I've always been annoyed that I can grow Perfect Cheeses, Eggs, Hamburgers, and Steaks, but not the other three.  So I grew some Omni Plants but I couldn't get them beyond Excellent.  I was able to find out on this site how to fix that, but I also noticed that whatever I feed the plants is what I'll get.  So if I feed it Normal Tofu, I'll get a bunch of Normal Tofu.  Is there a way to grow Perfect Tofu, Links, and Roasts?

I'm pretty sure that there is no way to "grow" perfect Tofo.Does the grocery store (in game) have different qualities of Tofu etc?(like it does friut and veg?)Maybe to you can buy good or very nice quality from the store.

Thank you!  No, it doesn't.  I was hoping there would be a way.  Oh well.  That's kind of annoying but what can you do?
