Roommate in university keeps coming in locked room

I'm staying in a dorm at university, and I decided to save my sim some effort, instead of using one of the existing bedrooms, I would take over the "den" type area. So I removed the arches, and replaced them with one door, which I locked. I put a bed, bathroom, fridge, etc in there for my sim. Somehow two other sims keep coming in to use her stuff! I checked that the door is locked, and if I do dismiss roommate they sort of just disintegrate instead of walking out. I saw one get in one time, and it was almost like she teleported from the room above.

Any ideas how to stop this?

Is it locked as for only you or for only your household. The household is the whole dorm. I had that issue and I locked it for specific sims. it worked well. I took three rooms on the top floor. It was amazing.

I've had problems with locking doors before too, but Ive just ignored them. I'm not really sure what to say to help you. Have you tried putting in a new door and locking ir and unlocking it then re-locking it?

You have to lock it for a specific sim.
