Can't download mod? (for Mac)

I am trying to download the game selector mod but for some reason I can't figure this out! I have founded the step by step instructions but when I unzip the file it creates the folder but it's empty and according to the step by step instructions there is supposed to be something in this folder! Does anyone know what is going wrong? I am playing on a Mac and I have downloaded that keka thing. I am running OS X Version 10.7.5 if that matters at all!
